Seems one or two clubs meet on the car park of the Old Post Office pub at Haigh, just past Barnsley. It's quite a big car park so no problem there. If anyone is interested I could pop over and have a word with them to verify it. Right besides the M1 it's dead easy to find as it' can be seen on the left travelling north & besides the slip road off M1.

Hi, I'm new here and I live in west Leicestershire.

Actually I'm looking for a good MG mechanic nearby (no special reason, nothing's needs doing to the beast as yet, just I've only recently got it and never owned an MG before!) so if anyone can suggest anyone within striking distance of west Leics I'd be interested!

Hi Mal,

I live near Spider Island on the Derby ringroad it is called that because of the bridge that goes across the island, other place near me is Rolls Royce which is a five minute walk so not sure if you know this side of Derby as the cricket ground is the other side of Derby.

Been to a few areas in Derby in past jobs and careers, including a rather large solicitors office on the outskirts but don't know that area. I'll ask my future brother-in-law as he comes from there.

One of the other members here opened a cafe in Derby a few months back, may well be worth seeing how that's going

Lincolnshire is considered to be East Midlands, so I still class as being there as well as I'm in South Lincs! ;-)

Well used to live in Bradley/Bilston/Wolverhampton. Now in Chuckle Butty Country of Suffolk. Travel back about 2 or 3 times a year, need the Sat Nav on now as I can't find me way round the place.

Stowmarket. About 15 miles west of Ipswich. Suffolk is such a lovely place, bit like stepping back in time compared to the west Mids. Despite my Black Country roots I very much doubt I will move back - much to my family's annoyance.

Nice area Stow-market we moved from Kent to the coast here in Links two years ago, and wish we had done this years ago, I often drive for an hour and only see three other cars .... bliss (i agree)
