Hi Guys
Since my last email i have decided to try and get this club back on its feet, so please please help me do that.
there are several ways YOU can help.
1. Post pics of any shows you have been to.
2. Ask any questions.
3. Tell us what you have done to your car lately.
4. Show us your car.
5. join in any other discussion.
6. just jump in and join in any where you wish to

We have had issues with the site signing members out a lot, this seems to be fixed now, I havent been signed out for weeks now, fyi i am using windows 10 on Opera and Firefox web browser.

thanks for reading
Mick

Hi I stopped visiting because I had difficulty signing in, and went onto Facebook pages instead.

I have 2 MG's a 1977 MGB which I have converted to V8 , and am currently developing electric power steering for, and a TF160 in Mirage, first of 4 painted in that colour, which I have fitted with aircon, big back brakes and loads of interior mods, I cannotb leave my cars alone, have to be fiddling with something.

Question, how do I cut and paste pictures , cannot see an icon above for doing this ?

Great news.
Just fitted new front and rear drop link's. Rear trailing arm toe in brackets and new bushes to trailing arm at toe in bracket end.
Started as a small knocking from boot area. Couldn't find any issues anywhere until the passenger side toe in bracket failed completely due to corrosion, found just the bush bolt holding the trailing arm to the underside of the car.
So changed both sides and both bushes in the trailing arms. All good now.
So beware of slight knocking noises from boot area. Check your toe in brackets.

Also bit the bullet and changed the front lower arm bushes as it was a recommendation from last year's MOT. To be honest it went well but I did get genuine parts.

hello,

if its possible i would be willing to host the site as a totally free site on my server (no need for membership costs so can disable that option), it wont cost me anything as own my own server.

it will keep good archive posts online and also can promote it myself.

You might want to sort out the logging in problem Mick! ;-)

I don't have any problems with any other site, except yours and having to log in every time you visit, is a PITA!

Hi everyone. Been busy repairing my garage to house my Rover 45 in. Ive owned the car for 5+ years. Its a 1.4 51 reg in odyssey blue, done 52000 miles. Its taxed and insured but I have decided to stop using it over winter as I need to try and protect the bodywork.

I have a second 45 which is Copperleaf red hatch. Its the 2.0 L series diesel with 100,000 miles. Unfortunately someone drove into the back of this car whilst I was stopped at a junction. It needs a new rear bumper, and is also due a cambelt change.

My daily drive is a V reg (1999) Rover 220 diesel in Brooklands green with the half leather interior. The car is tatty around the edges but solid underneath. It runs well and I get excellent MPG. I use this Rover all year round.

My next task at home is to build a wooden carport to shelter two more of my cars! I also have a set of 16" Cosmos alloys that I want to refurbish - all go!
