Hi guys can anyone shed any light on my Radio, the unit illuminates when the lights are turned on but nothing else and the clock is permanently set to 8:16. I have checked the fuse no 19 which relates to the unit but that's fine any idea's :-?

Is it an original Rover fitted radio ???

From what you say I think the problem is in the radio itself.--

Hi Colvert thanks for the reply, yes it is an original radio - looks like I will be replacing soon. Thanks Kevin

Great news :D Have taken the radio out from the dash to find a blown 10amp fuse, and even better news the previous owner had left the 4 digit security code happy days. (cheers)
Not to sure what is happening with clock yet :-?

That's good news. You might be able to do something with the clock now.

Don't forget to check why the fuse blew. Could be a loose connection or a bare wire somewhere.

Or simply old age, if it is the original fuse it may well have degraded (As they do over time).
