I was looking I to this as well component speakers are the way to go.
I was going to get Alpine as I already have an alpine unit.
Made in Scotland from Girders ><

Markw4811 has just broke a 75 with a full set of fusion speakers and tweeters fitted (shrug)

speakers arrived safely today, to my surprize two of them were Infinity speakers not fusions, These were used with the tweeters, The fusions are to be installed in the rear doors, Infinity speakers are among the best you can get, the quality of these in the front doors (already installed :mrgreen: :mrgreen: ) has already improved the sound 100x.
They sound really good, nice to have no distortion at the top end, I never used the crossovers as the head unit is not that powerful so is un necessary.

actually doing a bit of research, the blocks were amps i think, ooooh will have to investigate further, if you hear Born in the USA and cany find who it is, It may be me after installing the amps :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
