It has a code 3560, and it has been done before, not by me but a mate and he is away out of the country for a few months (shrug) it was a replacement for some generic radio, this one was advertised as an original for the 1.8 petrol model, so I was told in that other place ? (shrug) got it from Ebay.

Found the answer for any one else who may have the same problem

Switch on the unit. 'CODE' appears on the LCD.
Press preset 1 button. A '0' appears in the first column.
Use the radio tuning search 'up' or 'down' buttons to select the first digit of the security code.
Press preset 1 button to store the first digit. The unit is now ready to accept the second digit.
Repeat steps 3 & 4 until the fourth digit is stored. (clap)

I recognise that radio, it's the last unit Rover fitted to the 75.

I've got a couple that I've removed when I fitted Sean's head units. Need to sell them on.
