Seen this on another forum and thought what a great idea, If you have bought parts from a supplier on line or not and they turned out to be poor quality etc, then post it here, This will help other owners from making the same mistake

Going under the CDTi this weekend to see if the gaiters on the rack are made of the same rubbish rubber.
all of which could fail an MOT . gaiters probably ok as would have an oil puddle ?
But needs looking at to be on my list of problems to hammer the garage./ suppliers with.

No oil puddle. Gaiters just keep the dust out.--- (cheers)--and the grease in.

Rover 75 front anti-roll bar drop links - doesn't matter where you buy them or how much you pay, they're all absolute crap compared to the originals (imho :D )
It's a K Series . . . . keep topping it up . . . . it'll be fine . . . . . .

'Tracstar' tyres - I was assured they were a 'good budget tyre'. They were worn before I parked the car in the drive - or so it seemed . . .

If you buy these you need to cover the joins with silicon otherwise they steam up in a very short time, apart from that they are ok. Indicator lamps

halfords are terrible at matching paint codes, i went there for white gold paint for my old Mig, was a terrible match, i took it back, then i called up local VX dealer who did the original for less
